Split Ends

I hate it. Split ends.
"Split ends, or as the hair experts call it, trichoptilosis, is a common problem for many people. Split ends occur when the protective cuticle is destroyed at the end of the hair. The hair will then split into two or more strands. Some people claim that the split can be repaired, but the experts know that this is a myth. Once the damage has occurred, the best way to deal with it is by using a pair of scissors."
http://www.wisegeek.com/what-are-split-ends.htm
Same goes for many things. If a strand of hair that is born out of the same root, why does it split in the end?
The base has been built, so why bother to split it in the end?
How can we work together to build a better home? How can we work together to build a better Corps? What else, can be done?

A new year marks the new beginning.
Thanks for keeping it a mystery. Certain things in life, are not meant to be revealed. Like the writers of this blog.
From the next blog post onwards, the new guys will take over. Password will be changed and we will no longer log on, may the mystery live on!
KSJ Rocks, or are we on the rocks? Only time will give u the answer.

Hell is over!
Finally, end of camp le. The camp wasn't as tough as I thought it out to be. But it was very tiring. I participated in so many triages until I also lost count of how many triages I did le. Keep on doing and doing. Sir Shen Yang keep on scolding and scolding.
The most suay thing is that I always kena first aider de post de! And I always must go and carry people! Why! why people always get carried and I must carry other people! Sian. But Chor Kiat power lei. I see him carry a girl alone sia! Like you know, how a bridegroom would carry his bride! Lol.
There's even one part I heard him shouting over the walkie-talkie "Then ask him to go and die!" I oso dunno who he asked to go and die. Haha. But really pissed off, cos he scold CSM and ACSM and everybody. Stupid Sir. Got nothing to do come and scold us!
Sir Choon Siong a bit more better. He don't talk de. haha. But when he talks, normally is scolding people la. Sian.
Sir Kenneth lei, I think this year he quite free. Should be not holding any post ba. Cos he quite free. Never talked to us also. Only during Triage come out and make noise. =P
Oh ya. This year de camp hor, we walked lei!
You must be thinking I must be crazy, walk only what!
But the difference is in the amount of distance we walked! From Bukit dunno what to some stupid reservoir. I think is Macritchie ba. Cos I only noe one reservoir =P haha. Cannot blame ma. I only so young. Dunno much places. Not like the old old de officers. hehe.
Holiday start le lo! The days with nothing to do really very bored. Tried to find something to do, but I really cannot find anything to do lei. Maybe I'll work at Macdonald's ba. Heard my friends got some friends working there, can get them to help.
Coming back to the camp, the Passing Out Ceremony was quite touching lo. See all the seniors cry. The CSM go up also cry. See liao I oso wanna cry. But overall camp was fun though it was tiring.

I'M GOING TO WAKE UP YOUR IDEA

Think the Economy's Really bad, Everyone's like trying to touch the statue which seems to be bringing alot of ppl good luck..
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After being inactive for coming close to one year, I decide to make a comeback.
I will be here to make noise. I realised our juniors are losing their drive and passion for KSJ.
It's kinda sad cos a few of them, even those who used to be "siao on" is no longer performing up to the usual standards. I looked at the sec 4 seniors' rehearsal for the POP parade, I really worry that if we screw it up during the actual day, we'll surely make a fool out of ourselves.
Are we really going to become a unit whereby we're only Gold on paper?
Are we really going down the drain? I'm afraid we are. Looking at us, sec 3s, it really sucks to be with them. They don't put in their best to do their stuffs and I HATE it. I wanna chiong for KSJ, but the rest are not co-operating with me.
I DUNNO HOW LONG I CAN HANG ON WITHOUT BLASTING THOSE IDIOTS.
There's no way I can put in my best without the co-operation of my fellow people.

Oh yes, did I mention that there is a Ang Moh Sec 1 cadet? Hehe. Not bad-looking. ;P

I was so shocked. Cos yesterday night although it's cultural fiesta night, I think still not too bad ma.
Sir Shen Yang stopped us in the middle of the training at about 10 o'clock like that just to talk to us about some values that we should have as a st john cadet.
I think it's quite true la. Discipline, actions, behaviour, everything all comes under one roof.
If you come to think about it, yes, we did return home late last night, maybe about 10.30 latest then reach home ba, but even if there's no cultural fiesta night the day before, do we even sleep earlier than 12? even if we return late, as long as we sleep as fast as possible, we can still get at least about 6 to 7 hrs of sleep, which I think should be enough, becos sometimes even during school days we dun even get to slp that long.
The training wasn't also very early ma. I personally thought the training should be able to make it de.
But anyway, for those whom missed the training today, in the morning we did some first aid by Sir Choon Kiat, then after that we had footdrill by Sir Shen Yang.
Whoa, his footdrill lesson was really a killer. But I think he also a bit mixed up when doing some demonstration. Very funny. hehe. then teached us the turning while marching de. The Kiri Pusing command land on the right leg and the Kanan Pusing Command land on the left leg.
The timing is same for both, it's only "Check, Bang!"
Quite tough in the beginning, but after that still got used to it and finally we did it.
Then we revised on the di-sebelah and the tukar harluan and other commands. All quite easy la. not much of a stress. After lunch we sat down and talked to the sec ones got to know them better. haha. only 4, so quite easy to rmb. Sir Shen Yang want us to rmb their name and their birthday, so on so forth. hehe. Then after that, we did some footdrill again.
Sir Shen Yang is actually very patient with us, I realised.
But he seems quite disappointed in our turn-up rate. So we actually feel quite bad.
then Ms Tan said she wanna scold those who absent themselves without reason. I dunno la. Really feel bad. Hai~
