Today Ms Tan said there are 15 ppl who didn't turn up for the training...
I was so shocked. Cos yesterday night although it's cultural fiesta night, I think still not too bad ma.
Sir Shen Yang stopped us in the middle of the training at about 10 o'clock like that just to talk to us about some values that we should have as a st john cadet.
I think it's quite true la. Discipline, actions, behaviour, everything all comes under one roof.
If you come to think about it, yes, we did return home late last night, maybe about 10.30 latest then reach home ba, but even if there's no cultural fiesta night the day before, do we even sleep earlier than 12? even if we return late, as long as we sleep as fast as possible, we can still get at least about 6 to 7 hrs of sleep, which I think should be enough, becos sometimes even during school days we dun even get to slp that long.
The training wasn't also very early ma. I personally thought the training should be able to make it de.
But anyway, for those whom missed the training today, in the morning we did some first aid by Sir Choon Kiat, then after that we had footdrill by Sir Shen Yang.
Whoa, his footdrill lesson was really a killer. But I think he also a bit mixed up when doing some demonstration. Very funny. hehe. then teached us the turning while marching de. The Kiri Pusing command land on the right leg and the Kanan Pusing Command land on the left leg.
The timing is same for both, it's only "Check, Bang!"
Quite tough in the beginning, but after that still got used to it and finally we did it.
Then we revised on the di-sebelah and the tukar harluan and other commands. All quite easy la. not much of a stress. After lunch we sat down and talked to the sec ones got to know them better. haha. only 4, so quite easy to rmb. Sir Shen Yang want us to rmb their name and their birthday, so on so forth. hehe. Then after that, we did some footdrill again.
Sir Shen Yang is actually very patient with us, I realised.
But he seems quite disappointed in our turn-up rate. So we actually feel quite bad.
then Ms Tan said she wanna scold those who absent themselves without reason. I dunno la. Really feel bad. Hai~

Way to go for CAA Gold!
Our long awaited Gold
Andy Lau!
The new year kicked started with a New Year Celebration as usual... blah blah blah...
**Poomph**
It's already April!
Training every week is getting monotonous. The Sec Ones are forever doing some new each wk (because they have to, they are new ma!). So like what Sir Shen Yang always say, "Suck thumb lo"
Then the rest of us would be doing our usual round-robin routine, "First Aid, Foot Drill, Home Nursing" We are so used to this cycle liao.... A bit sian lei... Can we do something different? haha.
I doubt so. With the competition just less than 8 wks down the road, we have to work harder. Somemore this year I heard we got Gold. And yes, we finally got Gold for CAA, we'll have to work doubly hard for this year in order to get CAA Gold again for next year.
Getting is not a goal. It's just a pit-stop. What matters is what u do after getting Gold.
Oh yes, just something lighter, i just watched a movie, not bad. Here's the poster.
